INSPIRATION BEHIND THE DESIGN
The Brief
The client wanted a low-maintenance garden with a modern mediterrean feel. The design replaces the existing lawn with a layout that hides the wheelie bins, creates a comfortable seating area and offers interesting views from every angle.
The focal point is the beautiful anniversary sculpture that sets the tone for a romantic, modern space designed for relaxation and reflection.
Detailed Design
The detailed design drawing captures the full vision for the Modern Mediterranean garden. Showing how the elements of the layout combine to create a harmonious and timeless outdoor space, blending functionality, interest and beauty.
An Inviting Mediterranean Retreat
Central focal point of the design is the romantic statue, nestled in foliage of the tallest rendered planter with a backdrop cedar wood cladding and copper slate drystack veneer. Positioned above a reflection water table providing a calm and tranquil element.
Elements of Interest
Fairstone Sawn Versuro paving in Caramel Crème adds a luxurious tone and a seamless connection between the interior and the garden.
Layered planters and contrasting materials introduce depth and rhythm, while Mediterranean-style planting softens the geometry and enhances the sense of flow.
